In order to strengthen the AIDS prevention and control work in our hospital, strengthen the teachers and students' self-protection awareness and anti-AIDS ability, and avoid the risk of AIDS infection. On April 27, volunteers from the Youth Volunteers Association of our college participated in a lecture on "Promoting High-risk Behavior Change and AIDS Detection" in Jinming Campus.
The lecture was delivered by Han Dan, an expert from Kaifeng Center for Disease Control and Prevention. With a humorous speech, combined with professional expression, and through the form of questions and answers, Han Dan broadened the students' knowledge of AIDS prevention.
After the lecture, the volunteers of the Youth Volunteers Association of our college returned to the college to carry out the publicity activities of AIDS prevention and control knowledge in the form of peer education.
In the publicity process, volunteers use vivid cartoons to tell the story in a popular and humorous way. The lecture helped the students deeply realize the harm of AIDS, pointed out the importance of AIDS prevention, and let the students have a profound understanding of AIDS prevention and control.
The successful holding of this activity not only let our students deeply understand the knowledge of AIDS and AIDS prevention, but also improve the students' self-protection awareness and AIDS prevention ability.
