Personal profile:

Gao Hongbo, male, born in March 1976 in Anyang City, Henan Province, with ancestral roots in Juancheng, Shandong Province. Professor and Assistant Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at Henan University, Director of the Department of Radio and Television, Master's Supervisor, Member of the Discipline Evaluation Group of the Henan Academic Degrees Committee, Member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Drama and Film Studies in Henan Province, Director of the Henan Film and Television Association, Director of the Chinese Higher Education Film and Television Society, Director of the Audiovisual Communication Committee of the Chinese Journalism History Society, and Executive Director of the Short Film and Short Video Art Committee of the Chinese Film Editing Society. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Communication from Shanghai University in 2011 and obtained a Ph.D. in Literature. In 2014, Peking University and Shandong Provincial Radio and Television Bureau jointly trained postdoctoral fellows in art theory. Formerly served as the Director of the Film and Television Art Research Institute at Henan University (2015-2020), Visiting Scholar at the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri (2010-2011), Editor and Journalist at Henan Television (2000-2005), and Program Host and Journalist at Anyang People's Broadcasting and Television (1996-2000). So far, more than 100 academic papers have been publicly published, and 5 books have been published, including "The Integration of Television Media" and "The Evolution of Television Media", as well as the edited textbook "The Forms of New Media Programs". Hosted and completed 2 Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Projects of the Ministry of Education and 2 Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Projects of Henan Province. Has won the Second Prize for Decision Consultation of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the National Excellent Academic Paper Award for Young Journalists, the Special Prize for Humanities and Social Sciences in Henan Province Universities, and the Special Prize for Excellent Achievements in Social Science Popularization in Henan Province. The main research areas are radio and television and new media, media economy and cultural industry.
